Bazadais Cattle
Our Bazadais cattle follow the traditional breed type however we select for polling characteristics. Our Bazadais coats range in colour from dark to light grey with lighter pigmentation around the eyes, muzzle and mucous membranes and have small dark hooves.

Our Bazadaise bulls’ average height and weight are 145cm and 1100kg, with our cows averaging 140cm in height and 750kg in weight. Our calves are born with lighter pigmented coats and slowly darken after 3 months of age.
Bazadais are renowned for their exceptional length, excellent conformation, and good muscular development. With a broad back, well-rounded rump and fine bone structure Bazadais cattle produce exceptional yields in both pure or crossbred animals, often dressing out to 67%.
Bazadais are well known to make excellent mothers and ours are no exception. The calves are small, weighing 35 - 42kg, alert and mobile soon after birth. The muscle development becomes visible at 10 to 14 days.
With great instinctual grazing habits, Bazadais have a perfect proclivity for pasture-based systems. Decades of strict selection for hardy and productive animals enables them to achieve weights of 500 kilograms in 12-14 months.
Brangus Cattle
Our Brangus cattle have sleek black or red coats with pigmented skin. Their ears are medium to large with loose skin and neck folds. The rump is slightly rounded, and the bulls have a moderate hump.

Mature Brangus bulls generally weigh between 800kg to 900kg, while mature females generally weigh around 500kg to 550kg.
Our Brangus cattle are naturally polled thus eliminating the requirement to dehorn. We find polled cattle are quicker to process, easier and safer to handle and have minimal hide damage.
Brangus are well known for their heat, humidity and parasite tolerance and their ability to walk and forage. This gives Brangus cattle an edge in the toughest grazing conditions.
The marbling and tenderness qualities of the Brangus breed have also been demonstrated repeatedly. The breed possesses excellent growth rates, thus enabling producers’ greater versatility in their programmes.

Renowned for their exceptional mothering ability, Brangus females offer great calving ease, extremely high fertility and good temperament. Coupled with great survival instincts, excellent milk production based on sound, functional udders, the Brangus female gives a huge boost in calf survival rates and the best possible start to life.
Brangus bulls mature by two years of age and are ready to go into service by 18 months. Heifers are ready to breed by 14 months of age and deliver their first calf at 24 months of age. The bulls can remain in service through age 12, while the cows can produce calves beyond the age of 14.
Brangadais Cattle
Our Brangadais can range from black to grey with lighter colouring around eyes, muzzle, and mucous membranes. They have hooded eyes, are polled, with a sleek coat and pigmented skin. Their ears are medium to large, and have loose skin, neck folds and a moderate dewlap. Their rump is rounded, and the bulls have a moderate hump. They have small dark and hard hooves.

Brangadais cattle are very versatile animals, being natural grazers and foragers enabling high performance both on pasture and in the feed lot. Their proven resistance to heat, high humidity and parasites makes these animals very robust, resilient, and productive. Under conditions of cool and cold climates they produce enough hair for adequate protection. Brangadais can achieve weights of 500 kilograms at 12-14 months in favourable conditions, killing out at 63-67% or greater.
